Situated on a leafy, country acreage, this Scandinavian home is completely surrounded by trees.  It is landscaped and has a number of garden rooms, two outdoor eating areas, a woodshed, garden shed, potager vegetable garden, and six garden seating areas for chatting, reading, or getting away from it all.  One of the outdoor dining areas is close enough to the house to be Wi-Fi accessible and was used by the previous occupant as an outdoor office to write his dissertation during the warmer months.

The Scandinavian home from the road.  It is completely private and on highly sought after Long Lake Road, Berrien Springs.  This neighborhood only has acreage-lots so there are few neighbors and the neighbors around this home are excellent, friendly people.

The home has a number of mature and semi-mature fruit trees.  It also has a woodshed that holds two years worth of wood for the high efficiency Vermont Castings wood stove.  There is also free wood available on the property.  Wood can also be sourced cheaply from local woodsellers.
The forest to the rear of the property in winter.  There is also a potager garden (14 raised garden beds).  It takes approximately 45 minutes to mow the entire property with a 48 inch wide tractor mower.  All gardens are mulched and an hour every other week and some eco-weedkiller will keep all of the weeds and garden edges weed free.
The outdoor eating area that also doubles as an outside office.  Beautifully situated under an oak tree it picks up the Wifi in the home.
